Selective Memory

Working in collaboration with my sister, Jane Burton, we created an installation titled “Selective Memory,” comprised of more than 1,200 hanging white porcelain rocks in the shape of a haging rectangle. The 144" H x 84" L x 36" D piece reflects our choices, what we leave behind and the realization that we are all a fragment of a larger whole.
