Haste Couture is a large-scale installation built from hundreds of discarded garments compressed into a dense, cube-like structure. Inside, a circular screen sewn from clothing shows garments tumbling in slow motion. The accompanying sound, created from a slowed recording of a clothes dryer, shifts between a mechanical rhythm and something more distant and unsettled.

The work considers the speed and ease with which clothing moves through our lives, from production and purchase to disposal. Materials that once felt personal and temporary accumulate into a larger mass, carrying evidence of use, labor, and the systems that continue long after an object has been discarded.
